ADAPTATION VISIT FOR CHILDREN

The adaptation visit in the dentist's surgery should be the interesting experience for the child and totally unrelated to pain. It should take place appropriately early, before basic treatment needs appear. It is aimed at accustoming the child to new surroundings and establishing the better contact between the doctor and the little patient.
The first visit of our institution enables to get acquainted with the dentist's surgery and the medical staff. In the course of meeting the doctor, often in the form of games, the little patient learns about dental devices, the doctor demonstrating rules of operation and devices and objects unknown for the child. Thanks to that the dentist's surgery is becoming a place associated with fun and one that kindly invites the kid to spend time in it..
In the course of the first visit we can also perform simple treatments of sealing with sealing wax and/or of varnishing. After every visit children are able to get a small gift for themselves for the bravery, encouraging them for new visiting the dentist's surgery.
